My Journey
Backstory:
Lloyd K's journey began in 2010 as a passionate entrepreneur venturing into the events business with friends. Despite early enthusiasm, by 2014, the need for stable income led him to step back from entrepreneurship. He found solace in attending startup events, fueling a growing sense of discontent with a stagnant job and an untapped potential yearning for expression.
The Brick Wall:
In 2016, Lloyd joined a network marketing company, eager for change. The environment promised growth, but despite efforts, success was elusive. He realized he was trapped by an employee mindset, hindering progress and limiting his entrepreneurial spirit.
The Epiphany:
Everything shifted for Lloyd during a candid conversation with a successful peer. It became clear that personal development, strategic marketing, and a shift in mindset were crucial. Self-education in personal growth and marketing unveiled the pathway from employee to entrepreneur, setting Lloyd on a transformational journey.
The Do or Die Moment:
2017 marked a pivotal moment with the unexpected passing of Lloyd's uncle, an inspiring dreamer whose unfulfilled visions deeply impacted him. Motivated by this loss, Lloyd committed to ensuring others' dreams didn’t perish unfulfilled. Armed with new insights and determination, he embraced his role as a catalyst for change.
The Achievement:
Lloyd emerged as the Entrepreneurs Dream Maker, founding Khiyaza Holdings in 2018 and launching LEYD Institute in 2023. He built a thriving coaching community, the Dream Haven, where individuals harness their potential and transform dreams into reality.
